Discover a true piece of history with this charming vintage Polar Cub Type G electric fan. Manufactured by A.C. Gilbert Co. in New Haven, Conn., this fan is a testament to early 20th-century engineering and design. The original patent date of July 5, 1921, is proudly displayed on its brass tag. This desk fan features its original black painted base and cage, beautifully contrasted by the gleaming brass blades and center Polar Cub emblem. The fan retains its original cloth-wrapped cord and bakelite plug. While it is in remarkable cosmetic condition for its age and appears to be fully intact, please note that this fan is not in working condition and has not been tested for electrical functionality. It was acquired from the collection of a lifelong enthusiast in Eastern Kentucky, adding to its unique provenance. We recommend this item as a decorative collectible due to its age and the nature of vintage electronics. A fantastic addition for collectors of antique appliances, industrial decor, or unique home accents.
